Collaborative Religious Education, grades 1-8

We welcome all children of our parishes into our Collaborative Religious Education Program. Rooted in the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist, our program forms students to be disciples of Jesus Christ, and prepares them for living with Catholic-Christian values. Through attendance at Mass and weekly classes, we support parents, the primary teachers of the faith, in bringing their children up with a lively, informed, and active Catholic faith.

Families may choose classes at either Saint Jerome Parish or Immaculate Conception Parish. All classes are held once a week during the academic year, and are offered Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays. Our volunteer catechists help students discover the richness of the Catholic faith through prayer, the Scriptures, and age-appropriate activities and discussion.

Our goal is to promote and encourage:
• Proclamation of the Good News as revealed through Jesus Christ;
• Worship of God through private and liturgical prayer;
• Service to the Christian and entire world community; and
• Parents in their role as primary catechists of their children.
